Accuflite commenced as an archery company  in 1979 based on a design patent by James Bartol for a precision arrow straightness gage.  Accuflite added firearms and firearms accessories to its product mix in 1981 and in 1987 became a United States distributor of SAKO rifles and in 1990 became a worldwide distributor of other product lines, including Leupold scopes and accessories.

 In 1988 Accuflite began to design and provide custom rifles built on SAKO actions, and began to provide riflesmithing services.

 In 1990 Accuflite was licensed as an exporter of firearms and firearms accessories. By the mid-1990’s Accuflite was a major distributor of SAKO rifles, custom  rifles, various optics lines, and select firearm accessories.  Accuflite was recognized worldwide as a reliable source of high quality firearms, optics, and accessories.

 In  1998 Accuflite expanded its custom rifle business and  relocated to its current location in Export, Pennsylvania,  and continued to add improved design features and process capability to its custom rifle development efforts.  The exceptional  reputation of Accuflite and Accuflite's Custom Rifles was established worldwide during these decades of consistent efforts in exceeding customer expectations.

 From 2000 to 2010 Accuflite continued to enhance its custom rifle design and process capabilities while continuing as a major supplier of SAKO rifles and other product lines. In 2010 Accuflite was licensed as an importer of firearms and firearms accessories.

 Now, in 2011 Accuflite continues to expand its reputation worldwide, expanding into export sales, and imports of SAKO actions. Accuflite continues to exceed the expectations of hunters, sportsmen, and target shooters worldwide who demand the very best  performance available in a custom bolt action rifle.
